The Moneyworks is a program that was written, developed, & published in Nov of 2007 and is a program of Empowering You Seminars, a 501c3 non-profit company. This program was written because of statistics today we face, for example:

1. The life skill of basic money essentials is no longer taught in our schools.
2. 97% of the First year College students max out their credit cards within the first six months of school.
3. 95% of Individuals that have a checking account have never balanced their monthly statements.
4. Bankruptcy's have doubled in the past five years.
5. Foreclosures are rapidly on the Increase.
6. 80% of the U.S. spend more than we earn.
7. The average american spends $1.20 for every dollar earned.
8. People really believe that because they still have checks left, they can keep writing them. Even if they have no money in the account.
9. In the 1960's debt in American households was $8 billion dollars. Today in 2008 it is over $880 billion dollars.
10. 64% say money is a great worry to them.
11. 40% of church goers over spend every month.
12. In 2007 5.3 billion offers for a new credit card was sent out to homes across America.
13. There are over 1.3 billion credit cards in the U.S. today.
14. An average household carries 13 different credit cards.
15. 33% say it is impossible to get ahead because of their debt.

So you have 15 reasons this program was created, and needed in every household in America.
